“If we look at the heart-rate monitor strips, they kind of look like interval workouts, going back and forth between high intensity and low intensity. Because of that, with Zumba you burn a lot of extra calories compared to a steady-state exercise like jogging.”

Success Stories from Heart & Sole Dance!
"I really love what the dance fitness program has done to my body. I had tried several diets in the past, which had only worked for a short period of time. I had joined aerobics classes, cardio-boxing etc...although I had lost interest in that after a while. Riley's dance fitness class was the answer! The fact that I am learning something, such as dance, while sculpting and toning my body has kept my interest in the class--and the bonus is that I look better than ever! Thank you Heart & Sole!"

"I stumbled on Heart and Sole by accident when I saw the dance fitness poster on my way to buying popcorn. I knew that I should be exercising more than I was eating. I, therefore, went and treated myself to the Dance Addict pass and could not be happier. I've lost almost 20 pounds since March [2 months ago] and have made a lot of new friends.
It's really hard to say what my favorite class is there because they are all fun and unique. I've learned to dance many dances at Heart and Sole; but more importantly, Maren and her staff have truly reached deep into my heart and soul in more ways than I can tell."

Linda... (From our Facebook 'reviews' page)
WOW! Took my first Dance Fitness class at Heart and Sole. I don't think I sweat that much giving birth. Maybe if I go a few more times I will actually get some coordination, learn right from left, and lose ten pounds!
(UPDATE) Ok two punch cards later. Thank you Riley and Maren. Dance Fitness and Butt and Gut Buster has helped me lose 7lbs (9lbs as of July 29th)...
